Giclée is considered to be of a “finer” art grade of reproduction processes than those used in mass quantity reprints. Original art is meticulously scanned and printed on high quality, acid free and archival paper. For Colored Shadows, UltraChrome K3 inks were used on Somerset Velvet Radiant white paper that is 100% cotton rag.

As in other print work, the artist is given a “proof” to check color, saturation, tones, and depth so that the reproduction accurately represents the original. Because of recent developments in paper and inks used for giclée, it is predicted that this format’s longevity is comparable to or better than other reproduction collectibles. Each print of this Limited Edition of 10 has been numbered and hand signed by the artist.
