A rock and roll concert that will “benefit the state of your mind” is slated for Saturday (March 29), beginning at 2 p.m. at First and Main. Reggie Mace, local artist and musician, is organizing the event as a culminating musical celebration of March of Peace.
Mace explains, “March of Peace has been an amazing month long series of powerful peace related events which have reminded us that the attitude of understanding, tolerance, peace and justice need to continue at the forefront of our hearts and minds.” This finale community concert, Mace promises, “will bring motivation and enlightenment of socially conscious music to Walla Walla.”
Among the bands that will be performing include Walla Walla Vintage, The Irts, The Down Comforter, and The Slooches. Walla Walla Vintage will open the concert. Bands plan to perform their own works as well as popular favorites at the First Land and Title Plaza, First and Main. The event is free and open to the public.
