Hands in Clay
 I am working on the part of the Colorworks series called "Three in One." Pieces have been extruded and melded together. Once they are firm, I carve and add texture to the forms. These forms are dried slowly and then fired to cone 04.

I especially enjoy drawing, carving, and finding other ways to add interest to my work. I create textures in clay forms that are in the greenware state. I also embellish works with stone insets, lashing on wood and stone; sometimes I ornament my raku pieces with beads and feathers. |
